Michael Jackson Converts To Islam, Changes NameJavno.hr, Croatia November 21 2008

The famous singer and firmer member of the Jackson 5 decided to turn to Islam. Accordingly, he chose a new name – Mikaeel.

Michael Jackson has become a Muslim and changed his name to Mikaeel.

The singer (50) decided to give into the call of Islam, thus he vowed to the Kuran during a ceremony at a friend`s villa, The Sun writes.

After an Imam was called to hold the sermon, Jacko got down on the floor, wearing a tiny hat.A source said Jackson decided to convert on Thursday night in his friend`s home studio, where he was recording his new album.
